How much does it cost to use Bleu Retreat?+
We charge a non-refundable planning fee that varies based on the type of trip and group size — starting at $50 for individuals and couples, $150–$300 for groups, and $300+ for luxury concierge packages. This fee covers our time and expertise in researching, coordinating, and booking your trip. The fee is due before we begin planning.
How do you make money if I'm paying a planning fee?+
Great question! We earn a commission directly from resorts, cruise lines, and suppliers when we book your trip — similar to how a real estate agent earns from the seller. This means the price you pay for your trip is the same whether you book through us or directly. You get expert service at no extra cost to your trip price.
What destinations do you specialize in?+
We specialize in Caribbean luxury travel — Jamaica, Bahamas, Mexico (Cancún/Riviera Maya), Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos, Aruba, and Caribbean cruises. Not seeing your dream destination? Reach out — we love finding new gems.
How far in advance should I book?+
For individual and couples bookings, 2–3 months in advance is ideal. For group trips (5+ people), we recommend booking 4–6 months out to secure group rates and the best room inventory. The earlier the better — especially for popular travel dates like holidays and summer.
What's included in an all-inclusive resort?+
Most all-inclusive resorts include accommodations, meals at multiple restaurants, unlimited drinks (including alcohol at most), entertainment, and use of non-motorized water sports and resort amenities. Some premium resorts also include room service, specialty dining, and resort credits. We'll walk you through exactly what's included for each property we recommend.
Can you help with travel insurance?+
Yes! We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip and can discuss options with you. While we don't sell insurance directly, we can point you to reputable providers and help you understand what coverage is most important for your trip.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my trip?+
Our planning fees are non-refundable as they cover the work already invested in your trip. For trip cancellations or changes, we'll work with the resort or cruise line on your behalf per their cancellation policies. This is exactly why we recommend travel insurance — it can protect your investment in the event of unexpected changes.
Do you only book all-inclusive resorts?+
Our specialty and passion is all-inclusive Caribbean travel, but we can assist with other travel needs within the Caribbean region. If you have a specific trip in mind that falls outside our specialty, we'll let you know upfront so you can make the best decision for your travel needs.
